Material Donations

Would you like to support the Library by donating material? We accept donations delivered to the library by the donor. We accept gently used books and media material (CDs and DVDs only) in good condition.

We accept donations on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. There is a limit of 6 boxes (under 20 pounds each). Phone 510 620-6561 with any questions about donations.

We do not accept cassettes, dirty, torn, moldy, highlighted/underlined, water damaged materials, audio VHS tapes, workbooks, training manuals, series books, textbooks, encyclopedias, business, health books, or magazines. (If you would not give it to a friend, please don’t give it to us.)

The Friends is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that relies on individual or corporate donations.
